Creating new Signature: IncrediMail





       Email signatures are great, just great. You can put some basic contact information in your IncrediMail signature, but it can also contain a witty quotation or some good information or thought etc.
 
              In
IncrediMail, you can have multiple signatures (one for work mail and one for private messages, for example). creating signatures is easy and simple our Texpert has explained steps which can be performed on your own.

To set up an email signature in IncrediMail:
  •     Click New Mail to create a new, empty message in IncrediMail.
  •     Select "Tools" | "Signature" | "New Signature"... from the menu.
  •     Type the desired signature text in the box with the example.
        You can use the formatting toolbar to add images, icons and text styles to your signature.
        Try to keep the signature to 4 to 7 lines of text, however, and use the standard signature delimiter that sets it apart from regular message text.
        Alternatively, create a handwritten signature in the drawing area.
  •     Click "Save".
  •     Click "OK".

Block senders in IncrediMail



                   Many emails are sent every day. Some of them are not welcome. If you find many of these unwanted messages are from the same sender, You can easily block messages from a specific sender by adding the sender's e-mail address or domain name to the Blocked Senders List.


           Messages from addresses or domain names in this list are always treated as junk. IncrediMail moves any incoming message from senders in the Blocked Senders List to the folder, regardless of the content of the message. you can block all mail from that sender easily in IncrediMail, Our Texpert have provided a quick and easy way to Add sender or domain name to Block a Sender's list in IncrediMail.

Steps to add a sender to your list of blocked senders in IncrediMail:

  •     Select a message from the person you want to block in the IncrediMail Inbox.
  •     Select Message | Block Sender from the menu.
  •    Alternatively, you can select Block Sender from the message context menu which opens when you right-click on the selected message.
  •     Click the Block Sender button.

Backup address book in IncrediMail

Steps to export your IncrediMail address book for copying or backup:
  •     Select "Tools" | "Address Book"... from the menu.
  •     Select "File" | "Export"... from the address book's menu.
  •     Go to the folder where you want to keep the backup copy of your address book.
  •     Optionally, enter a custom file name for the copy.
             The standard "IncrediMail Contacts (csv)" should work fine, though.
  •     Click "Save"

Backup mails in IncrediMail




              You may have some messages that carry particular importance. Of course, you keep them in a save folder inside IncrediMail and you have printed them, but one never knows. Steps to create a backup copy of your IncrediMail files:

  •     Select "File" | "Data and Settings Transfer" | Transfer to New Computer... from the menu in IncrediMail.
  •     Click "Continue". 
              In some version of IncrediMail, you have to click "OK".
  •     Choose the folder and file name of your backup copy.
  •     Click "Save".
  •     Watch IncrediMail back up your data.
  •     Close the finishing dialog with "OK".

Empty trash folder on exit in IncrediMail




               There are many activities you can do when managing email. You can reply the email, forward it, delete it, create new email, and other various activities. When deleting an email, the electronic mail will be included into the Trash folder, not disposed directly. 


This folder function is similar as the Recycle Bin on the Windows desktop. All emails that are in the trash folder will remain there as long as you do nothing on this folder. As a result, the hard disk will become overloaded because there is some disk space used by the trashed email. In this article we have few quick and easy steps to empty the Trash Automatically When You Exit IncrediMail.

How to have IncrediMail empty the Deleted Items folder automatically when you exit:
  •     Select Tools | Options... from the IncrediMail menu.
  •     Go to the Advanced tab.
  •     Make sure Empty messages from 'Deleted Items' folder on exit is selected under General.
  •     Click OK.

Adding Bcc field in IncrediMail





              If you want to send an email to a contact or several contacts, you might want to keep some of the recipient email addresses private using the Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) Field. Here’s how to do it in IncrediMail.

            Bcc recipients are special: they get a copy of a message, just like Cc recipients do. But the addresses of the Bcc recipients do not show up in the mail, the Bcc recipients stay anonymous.

By default, IncrediMail does only show the To and Cc fields. That can be changed, though to display Bcc field as well.

Steps to add a Bcc recipient to a message you are composing in IncrediMail:
  •     Start with a new message.
  •     If you don't see Bcc: below To: and Cc::
           *  In IncrediMail 2, select View | CC / BCC Fields from the menu, which you can access using Menu in the title bar.
       
             *  In IncrediMail Xe, select View | Show Bcc: from the menu.
    Use the Bcc: field just like the To: and Cc: fields.
  • Type the email addresses of recipients (separating multiple recipients with commas) or insert recipients comfortably from your IncrediMail address book.

Add email sound background in IncrediMail

  •     Make sure the Style Box is open while you compose the message in IncrediMail.
        If you cannot see the Style Box, select View | Open Style Box from the email's menu.
  •     Go to the Sounds category.
  •     Open the desired sound folder.
  •     Click the sound you want to insert as background music.
  •     To play the sound continuously in a loop:
             Make sure Play repeatedly is checked in the music bar in your message.
