How to search email headers in Outlook 2010

         Tracking down where an email came from can be very important in a security role. This can be done by viewing the email headers. In Outlook 2010 the email headers are hidden behind a few menus. This guide will show you how to view them.


Follow below steps:

Open the email you wish to view the headers for in Outlook. Then click the File menu.

 


Click the Properties button in the menu

 


A new window will open and it will show you the headers

 

These steps can be followed in Outlook 2010 installed in Windows XP and Windows 7.
