If you want to send an email to a contact or several contacts, you might want to keep some of the recipient email addresses private using the Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) Field. Here’s how to do it in IncrediMail.
Bcc recipients are special: they get a copy of a message, just like Cc recipients do. But the addresses of the Bcc recipients do not show up in the mail, the Bcc recipients stay anonymous.
By default, IncrediMail does only show the To and Cc fields. That can be changed, though to display Bcc field as well.
Steps to add a Bcc recipient to a message you are composing in IncrediMail:
- Start with a new message.
- If you don't see Bcc: below To: and Cc::
* In IncrediMail 2, select View | CC / BCC Fields from the menu, which you can access using Menu in the title bar.
* In IncrediMail Xe, select View | Show Bcc: from the menu.
Use the Bcc: field just like the To: and Cc: fields.
Use the Bcc: field just like the To: and Cc: fields.
- Type the email addresses of recipients (separating multiple recipients with commas) or insert recipients comfortably from your IncrediMail address book.
These steps can be followed for IncrediMail installed in Windows XP, 2000, 98 etc
