If a message containing an attachment arrives in your Eudora Inbox, you usually don't want to leave the attached file inside the message. you want to save it to your Desktop (or some other folder).
Eudora makes this easy, fast, comfortable, and everything else that's good about using a mouse to command a computer and this article includes steps to save an Attachment via Drag-and-Drop in Eudora
Steps to save a file attached to an email fast via drag-and-drop in Eudora:
- "Open" the message containing the attachment in Eudora.
- Make sure Eudora does not occupy the whole screen and your Desktop is visible behind it.
- Click on the "attachment's icon" and keep the mouse button down.
- "Drag the attachment" out of the message to your your Desktop.
^ Of course, you can also drag the file to any other folder if you open it in Explorer.
- "Release" the mouse button.
These steps can be followed for Eudora installed in Windows XP and Windows 7.
