Exclude account from auto mail checking

                    It's great to have Eudora check for new mail periodically all on its own. you do have email accounts that you don't want to be checked automatically, though. In which one accout is on a really, really slow to respond server, for example. Since it hardly ever receives mail, checking it every 15 minutes only slows down checking the other, more important emails.

Steps to exclude an account from automatic mail checking in Eudora:

•     Select "Tools" | "Personalities" from the menu.

•     "Right-click" the desired Eudora personality.

•     Select "Properties" from the menu.

•    Make sure "Check Mail is not checked" on the Generic "Properties" tab.

•     Click "OK".

These steps can be followed for Eudora installed in Windows XP and Windows 7.
