It's great to have Eudora check for new mail periodically all on its own. you do have email accounts that you don't want to be checked automatically, though. - Select "Tools" | "Personalities" from the menu.
- "Right-click" the desired Eudora personality.
- Select "Properties" from the menu.
- Make sure "Check Mail is not checked" on the Generic "Properties" tab.
- Click "OK".
