Filtering mails with attachment: Eudora

                 Usually, attachments are important. Some are important because they are dangerous (viruses!), but many are important because they are reports, work, or family pictures. Whatever the reason may be why you want to catch them, in Eudora you can attach a label to them with a filter automatically.

    In this article we have tried to make things easy by providing steps which are simple and easy to create a label for messages containing Attachments Automatically in Eudora

Steps to make Eudora label messages containing attachments automatically:

•     Select "Tools" | "Filters" from the menu in Eudora. 

•     Click "New".

•     The filter should read:

            ^   "Match Incoming"
            ^  "Header: Content-Type:"
            ^  "contains multipart/mixed".

•     As the "Action to take", choose "Make Label".

•     Click on "None" and select the desired "label".

•     "Close" the Filters window, saving changes.

Finally, you should move this filter to the very top of your filters so it can process all incoming messages before other filters move them to specific folders and stop further filtering and these steps can be followed for Eudora installed in Windows XP and Windows 7.
