Read receipt is feature in IncrediMail which ensures the sender that there email is delivered to the recipient and it is read by the recipient.

To request a read receipt for an email you are composing in IncrediMail:

- Select Message | "Request Read Receipt" from the menu while composing the message to make sure the item is checked.
- If Message | "Request Read Receipt" is already checked, selecting the menu item again will disable the read receipt feature for this message.
These steps can be followed for IncrediMail installed in Windows XP, 2000, 98 etc
