It's easy to add address book members to a mailing list in Outlook Express, but adding recipients to a mailing list without having them appear in the address book, too, is a simple thing to do, too. And it helps you keep address book and mailing lists neatly separated.

- Select "Tools" | "Address Book"... from the Outlook Express menu.
- Highlight the "mailing list" you want to add subscribers to in the list of address book entries.
- Click "Properties".
- Type the "email address" of the new recipient in the E-mail: entry field at the bottom of the dialog.
Optionally, add a name to the subscribed email address as well.
- Click "Add".
- Finally, click "OK" and close the address book.
These steps can be followed in Outlook Express installed in Windows XP, 2000. 98 etc..
