Email signatures are great, just great. You can put some basic contact information in your Outlook Express signature, but it can also contain a witty quotation or some good information or thought etc.
In Outlook Express, you can have multiple signatures (one for work mail and one for private messages, for example). creating signatures is easy and simple our Texpert has explained steps which can be performed on your own.
Steps to set up your email signature in Outlook Express:
- Select "Tools" | "Options"... from the menu.
- Go to the "Signatures" tab.
- Click "New" under Signatures.
- Type the text of your signature under Edit Signature.
Try to limit your signature to 4-5 lines of text, and possibly use the standard signature delimiter.
This field is for plain text only, but you can also enrich your signature with HTML formatting.
- Click "OK".
These steps can be followed for Outlook Express installed in Windows XP, 2000, 98 etc
