Adding replied contacts to Address Book

             Many people suggest to build your address book so you have the addresses of your friends and family when you need them. may be you never really follow this advice, this is been found a very helpful feature in Outlook Express.

     Whenever you reply to somebody via email a few times, Outlook Express can add the recipients to your address book automatically. What a simple way to build a comprehensive list of contacts. In this article our Texpert has explained how to build your Outlook Express Address Book Automatically.

Steps to have people to whom you reply added to your Outlook Express contacts automatically:

  

•     Select "Tools" | "Options"... from the menu.

•     Make sure "Automatically put people I reply to in my Address Book" is checked.

•     Click "OK".

Note: Recipients are not added to your contacts when you start a new message and address it manually. Only when you reply are the original senders turned into address book contacts. 

These steps can be followed for Outlook Express installed in Windows XP, 2000, 98 etc.
